I’ll never forget the day walking through the Puppy Barn, where I swore there was no way I was buying a puppy, and you popped your little head up from your stall. It was love at first sight for me and that love only deepened over our next 8 years. Holding you in my arms on that long drive home we certainly did bond, you were a momma’s girl all the way! I’ll never forget the feel of your soft fur and those silky smooth cute little ears. You were so smart learning all of your commands so quickly, always eager to please. I hope my great love for you followed you over “Rainbow Bridge”. I don’t even have the words to express my gratitude to Dr. Holland and her staff for their care and kindness. You made one of the worst days of our lives a little more bearable. The thought of getting Xena into the car and her final ride ending laying on a cold hard steel table just sickened me. It would have caused her extreme pain and distress to even try to move her. Having her in the home she loved surrounded by the people who loved her was such a comfort. Thank you to all at HomeHeart for everything you all do to comfort families and especially our pets you are an amazing group of people! My sweet girl I love and miss you until we meet again.
