Dr. Lori Holland
Dr. Lori Holland grew up in the New England area and knew from a very early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. During her upbringing, her father‘s career in the government required many moves throughout her young life… the only constant was her immediate family and her beloved dog, Princess. A life-threatening illness almost took Princess from her, and from that point forward she was resolved to become a veterinarian, to help other people in their time of distress.
She thoroughly enjoyed school and soon was graduating from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years, she married, raised six children with her husband of many years, and practiced small animal companion animal medicine and feline only medicine. Eventually, she found her niche in emergency and critical care and practiced in her own facility for more than 25 years.
The time came to move on after the loss of her mother, and Dr. Lori felt the calling to support others as they found themselves at the time of saying goodbye to their beloved pets. She considers it an honor to be able to help.
HEAR FROM OTHER PET PARENTS
“I am so grateful for HomeHeart Vets for their care during such a hard day and hard decision. Getting to spend the afternoon saying goodbye to my cat at home (not at the vet, which my kitty hated so much) meant everything to me…The procedure was so well crafted, as many other reviewers have mentioned, full of compassion and letting us have a proper goodbye. The vet and tech were just amazing. Thank you so much.”
